CAT 966D Wheel Loader

This is an example of a CAT 966D Wheel Loader owned by Holliday Sand and Gravel in Kansas City.  When the FS-2500 was installed, this loader had 21,500 hours on the engine.  The most recent sample on the exhibit has 34,881 hours and the oil drain interval is at 841 hours.  As you can see, the wear metals are all but absent from this sample, and at 841 hours that is unprecedented performance.  As of January 2000, this loader is still running strong and has over 37,000 hours on the engine.
